Swedish indie pop artist Soso takes DIY to a whole new level, having written, recorded, and self-produced each track on her new album in the bedroom of her Stockholm apartment. As a result, the album, That Time I Dug So Deep I Ended Up In China, is an intensely personal journey into the heart of Soso, full of introspective lyrics and pop melodies. Approaching the release of her eagerly anticipated album The House That Jack Built (due out June 26th via Bella Union) Jesca Hoop releases the video for her first single from the album “Born To,”. The video features two versions of Jesca and illustrates the “what if?” “Born To” asks a question we’ve all asked ourselves “how is it that I was born into the circumstances I was born into. How is it some of us are born into famine and others into unimaginable wealth?”

Hot off the heels of her tour with Ane Brun, Gemma Ray releases her latest and most ambitious album Island Fire today on Bronze Rat Records. For a taste of the record, and a glimpse into her home turf, Gemma Ray is giving away one of the darker tracks from the album, "Flood And a Fire," together with a previously unseen film: Gemma and band performing said song at rehearsals in the shadowy Bethnal Green Working Men's Club in East London.
