Yellow Capra

Yellow Capra Yellow Capra is a combo from Milan (Italy), they started up playing with the actual line-up at the end of2001 (except for Antonello, who joined the band in February 2004).

Their music is the result of different approaches and studies, in a wide range from rock in its several shapes to classic. Yellow Capra started to create music thinking about soundracks for Cinema and Theatre beginning more collaborations with film makers and theatre companies. They’ve created sountracks and played live for the theatrical show “Il respiro (the breath)” by Thomas Bernard and directed by Luigi Guaineri; they also create music for: the short “The Screen” by Valerio Orlando (co-produced by Sky Cinema), the mid-movie “The Sea in their Blood. Beside the Sea” by Peter Greenaway, the short “Divini Incontri d’Orgasmo (Divine Meetings of Excitement)”, the spot “Lancia Y – Traffic Jam” produced by Lightbulb Production and sometimes they joke, making music for american and french mute movies from the 20’s and 30’s.

The Cinema’s World is a part of the band and it is not a case than the drummer Gianandrea Tintori is one of the big italians film editors actually (calvin klein, vodafone, telecom and many music videos).

In 2003 the band decide to accept the proposal of Wallace records to make a split with other bands. After the good and new experience in studio, they’ve have joined Piloft Recordings to work on the first Yellow Capra album.

They playedas guests in the past three editions of Milano Film Festival and at International Theatre & Dance Festival in Bregenz (Austria) in 2002.They also played as supporters and together with bands like: Calla, Arab Strap, Giardini di Mirò, Ronin, Madrigali Magri, Ultraviolet Makes Me Sick, Hogwash, One by One, Eniac.
